My Dad has prostate cancer. What do you think of cryotherapy?

They said no surgery because he had colon cancer. They said he could have radiation or cryotherapy – that’s where they freeze the prostate. Has anybody heard of this and how well did it work? His colon cancer is gone and his Gleason score was 6 with a few 7′s. He is over 70.
